The new "User's Guide" can be viewed by clicking on User's Guide under the "About the Atlas" tab. This user's guide provides extensive details about the Atlas including the history of the atlas, how to use the atlas, what is available in the current atlas, and where all of the data in the atlas comes from. Online Key to Grasses of New York

A draft beta online key to the grasses of New York is available through the USDA Plants Database.  This key uses Stinger's Lightweight Interactive Key Software (SLIKS) which is a simple javascript program developed for the purpose of developing online keys.  This is the same software used by the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens to develop the online key to the woody flora of the New York City Metropolitan Area and the interactive key to Amelanchier of North America
